Well the season is officially over, save for the all star game next Thursday, and I would say overall it was a good year. We had a few girls for whom this was their first year playing who really progressed well over the season, and our veteran players refined their skills.
We probably won more games than we lost, their was no official score, albeit we kept a book just to keep track of the lineup, but a score was kept.
The girls played well together as a team, and despite one of the girls losing her father in middle of season she continued to play on, and do so in strong way.
I really enjoyed coaching this year, and hope to do it again next year when my daughter moves up to the travelling, more competitive level.
Now I am going to catch up on some rest.
