Last night was the conclusion of my daughter's softball season, with the annual all star game, which she made. Her and two other girls made the team, they were voted on by their teammates and coaches.
The way it was setup was real nice. There was an announcer, the girls were all introduced individually prior to the game. There was a scoreboard, and each was announced prior to their at bat.
The other team won 7-6, but the game was called due to a thunder storm. The other team went ahead in the top of the fourth. We were about to take our bats when the lightening started, so we decided to call the game.
Overall by daughter was 1-2, with an RBI. She got on base both times, her first at bat was a fielders choice, and her second was a nice line drive to third base which she easily beat out.
So the baseball and softball season is officially over, and now my nights will be free.
