Well my son's baseball season ended earlier this afternoon. He made his tournament team, and they were playing in a consolation game, as they lost their game Thursday night.
My son got to start today, he played in left field. He got three at bats, struck out twice, and got on base on a walk and scored a run. The BOB bat was great, he was down 0-2 and took four straight balls. He was so excited to score a run.
He had a good year overall. This was his first year facing a pitching machine and toward the latter part of the season, pitchers of his own age.
He progressed well over the year and did really well in the field.
He will be playing soccer in the late summer/fall. So he has the rest of the summer off.
