Phillies 11 Reds 4

It was seemed like batting practice for the Phillies last night, they defeated the Reds 11-4. The Phillies had 16 hits, three of which were home runs, and four doubles.

The big disappointment for me, was Ryan Howard striking out four times, after hitting a two run home run in the first inning. The reigning MVP, was beautiful on his first at bat, but looked like a hacker the rest of the night. All of the starters save for the pitcher got hits last night.

One of the more exciting things to happen was a double steal that occurred in the second inning. Michael Bourn stole second and Catcher Carlos Ruis stole home, on Red's catcher David Ross's throw to second, and was safe at home on the play, albeit it was a close play.

We had a nice night out last night, although it was very humid and hot. Once the sun went down, it cooled down a little but not enough. There was however a nice breeze.

I got off easy, only spending $20.00 in the gift shop, although they killed me on concessions
