From today, a new President of the United States will be inaugurated. Its interesting, that we are over eighteen months away from the election and various candidates are setting up exploratory committees, raising money, and even mud slinging. I have no opinions right now, just that we are just barely into a new Congressional session and the wounds from the mid term elections are still being licked by the Republicans, and we are already discussing the 2008 Presidential election. There is no escape from it, talk radio, the Internet, newspapers (I barely read any other section of the paper outside of the sports section), and emails. I get two or three a day from candidates and parties, asking for donations.
How about focusing on some issues that matter to this country now, not who is going to be President in 2008. Let's start really debating about that this time next year.
Politics and politicians suck most of the time.
