I am a spreadsheeter (accountant) at KlingStubbins, a Philadelphia based Architectural, Engineering, Interior Design and Planning Firm.
I am a retired long distance runner, who ran for nearly twenty years. I have run The Broad Street Run (2001 and 2002), The Philadelphia Distance Run and The Philadelphia Marathon both in the latter part of 2001, and many local fun runs and other races. I also ran track and cross country in high school.
In the spring of 2003, I was diagnosed with a heart condition and reluctantly retired from running, my last run was on, 05 February 2003.
On 02 May 2003 with the cardiologist's okay, I resumed physical activity, and began cycling. I have been pedaling ever since.
I am also a twenty three year member of the Folcroft Fire Company, Delaware County Station 01. Ten years in which I was a member of the active Fire and EMS crew
In my younger years, I was a police dispatcher for the County of Delaware, and later in Marple Township, PA
I am a graduate of Delaware County Community College (AAS, Accounting), and Cabrini College (BS, Management).
I have been happily married since 1993, and we have two beautiful children, and one big boned cat.
I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies and Notre Dame Football fan. I also enjoy military history, specifically World War II. I also enjoy and would like to one day own a Ford Mustang., either a 1967 or 1968, or one of the new 2007 GT500's. My dream car is a Ford GT
Just recently I was diagnosed with Primary Progresive MS, you can read all about it in this blog entry. I will be posting periodic updates on how I am feeling and how I am coping with the disease
